Ipeľský Sokolec, formerly Sakáloš (Hungarian: Ipolyszakállos) is a village and municipality in the Levice District in the Nitra Region of Slovakia.
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1386.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 119 metres (390 ft)[3] and covers an area of 18.12 km2 (7.00 sq mi) (2024).[4]
