I Promised The World is an American rock band from Dallas, Texas.

Vocalist and guitarist Caleb Molina was inspired to start the band after the death of his father from Covid-19 in 2020. The band formed in 2023, originally under the name Sinema. In addition to Molina, the group consists of bassist Aidan Vickers, guitarist Mason Nowlin, vocalist Hunter Wilson and drummer Mason Zschau. The band's debut EP, After the Flatline, was released in November 2023. The cover features the strip of Molina's father's final heartbeat.[1] The following August, they released their debut album Fear of the Fall.[2]

In May 2025, the band changed their name to I Promised The World due to other acts sharing the name Sinema.[1] That November, they announced their signing with Rise Records, accompanied by a self titled EP I Promised The World, set to release on January 16, 2026.[3]

With the release of the single Bliss In 7 Languages, a music video would be released through Rise Records' Youtube channel. This video would gain traction in the metalcore community due to the video being similar to the music videos of the early 2000's metalcore, giving viewers heavy nostalgia.[4] The video would create a spike in listeners for the band and mark them as one of the up and coming bands in the country.[5]
