Humaniti Hotel Montréal, Autograph Collection
The Humaniti Hotel Montréal, Autograph Collection is a hotel located in Downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The property is operated under Marriott International's Autograph Collection brand and opened in 2021.
History and architecture
Humaniti Hotel Montréal began operations in June 2021 and is part of Marriott International's Autograph Collection brand.[1] It is located directly opposite from Palais des congrès de Montréal and is several blocks from Old Montreal and Quartier des spectacles.[1] Lemay was the building's architect.[1] Andres Escobar from the Lemay + Escobar brand did the hotel's interior design, drawing inspiration from the modernist style and incorporating numerous pieces from Québecois artists.[1][2] The hotel is an "H-shaped mixed-use high-rise".[3] The letter H appears as a repeated motif, such as a Marc Séguin sculpture titled Hanima and the rooms being divided into four classifications (Halo, Harmonie, Hibiscus, and Hop).[3] Young people comprise a significant part of the hotel's clientele.[4]
Amenities
De la Gauchetière Street and Viger Avenue are linked by the hotel's courtyard which has flora, benches, and a pool.[1] Humaniti's roof has a temperature-controlled swimming pool.[1][5] The hotel has a gym that occupies two floors.[4] Occupying 2,000 square feet (190 m2), its Spa Humaniti houses four service rooms as well as two sections for pedicures and two for manicures.[1][4][6] Jean-Sébastien Giguère is the restaurant h3's founding executive chef.[1] Inspired by French cuisine, the restaurant uses seasonal items from nearby suppliers.[4][7] The hotel's wine cellar holds 3,000 bottles.[6]
The hotel has 193 rooms and suites.[1] The rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows.[4] The smallest room is 334 square feet (31.0 m2), while the largest room, the Hero suite, is 1,200 square feet (110 m2).[8]
