Goeppertia albertii (syn. Calathea albertii) is a species of plant belonging to the genus Goeppertia of the Marantaceae family, native to southeastern Brazil.[1] It has been reported as introduced to El Salvador.[2]
Its shiny leaves are spotted white on top and have a purplish tinted underside.[3] The flowers are white. When planted as an ornamental in Georgia, United States, Goeppertia albertii produces a small number of flowers in late summer. Full shade to part shade is recommended.
There is a cultivated variety called 'White Tiger'.[4]
