Flame of Desire is a 1935 Australian musical by Jack O'Hagan.[1][2][3][4]

The Argus wrote "If you have an appetite for red-hot romance, served up in a Ruritanlan kingdom, where brave uniforms and royal intrigues count more than statesmanship, and if digestion is helped by copious draughts of music, by turn turbulent and honey sweet, this is the show that will gratify the heart's desire."[5]

The Age wrote "Flame of Desire follows Collit's Inn and The Beloved Vagabond progressively in a welcome sequence of musical plays of Australian inspiration. The staging is brilliant, and there is an absence of vulgarity."[6]
