Eupodes is a genus of mites. It includes the species Eupodes minutus.[1]
Prior to 1984, it was believed that only one species of eupodes, E. minutus, existed in the islands of the Scotia Arc/Antarctic Peninsula.[2] Later research found two more existing species: E. exiguus n.sp. and E. parvus n.sp..[2] Additionally, within the E. parvus n.sp species, two subspecies were recognized, E. p. parvus and E. p. grahamensis n.ssp.[2]
