Esperance Airport (IATA: EPR, ICAO: YESP) is an airport in Esperance, Western Australia. The airport is 12 nautical miles (22 km; 14 mi) northwest[1] of the city, near the locality of Gibson.

== Incidents ==/Accidents
- On 13 May 1980, a Skywest Swearingen Metro II experienced a failure of its right engine at low altitude whilst approaching Esperance Airport during a scheduled passenger flight, forcing the Captain to execute an emergency landing in a nearby field. The single crewmember and all of the other eleven passengers on board evacuated the aircraft before it was destroyed in a fire.[3]
On 26 May 2007, a Piper PA-28RT-201 aircraft flew into terrain about 2 km west of Esperance Aerodrome in poor weather after arriving at dusk. • This crash killed all three occupants and was investigated by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB), which found the flight continued in very low visibility and dark conditions that were unsuitable for visual flying.
On the 26 May 2018 A Regional Express Saab 340B airliner on a scheduled flight from Esperance to Perth experienced a minor technical/ice-protection system issue while taxiing at YESP before departure.
Somewhere in 2016 A light agricultural aircraft crashed on a property north of Esperance; the pilot was seriously injured but survived
