Ekniti Nitithanprapas (Thai: เอกนิติ นิติทัณฑ์ประภาศ) is a Thai politician, serving as Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister since 2025.[1]
Career
Prior to his appointment as Minister of Finance in this Anutin Cabinet, Ekniti served as director-general of the Treasury Department.[2]
Following his appointment, Ekniti named Deputy Minister of Finance Vorapak Tanyawong to lead a task force investigating scam centers in Southeast Asia.[3] Vorapak subsequently resigned on 22 October 2025 following an investigation linking him and his wife to a financial ring associated with scam centers.[3]
