"Dream as One" is a song by American singer Miley Cyrus. It was released on November 14, 2025, through 20th Century Studios and Columbia Records as the lead single of the soundtrack for the epic science fiction action-adventure film Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025).[1] The song was written by Cyrus, Andrew Wyatt and Mark Ronson, who composed the song, along with the film's score composer, Simon Franglen.[2][3]
Background and release
On October 22, 2025, Cyrus posted a teaser of the soundtrack on her social media, with the release date being announced on the film's account, writing that she is "Honored to support Avatar: Fire and Ash with an original song I've written with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt," she wrote. "Having been personally affected by fire and being rebuilt from the ashes, this project holds profound meaning for me. Thank you, Jim, for the opportunity to turn that experience into musical medicine. The film's themes of unity, healing, and love resonate deeply within my soul, and to be even a small star in the universe the Avatar family has created is truly a dream come true".[4]
"Dream as One" mark's the fifth collaboration between Cyrus and Ronson, and first since 2020, where they worked together on two songs from the singer's seventh studio album Plastic Hearts. It also mark's Cyrus' and Wyatt's first collaboration since Plastic Hearts' "Golden G String".[5]

Critical reception
"Dream as One" was nominated for Best Original Song in a Feature Film at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, on November 5, 2025, prior to its release.[7]
