Dobroč (Hungarian: Dabar) is a village and municipality in the Lučenec District in the Banská Bystrica Region of Slovakia.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 654 metres (2,146 ft)[3] and covers an area of 18.86 km2 (7.28 sq mi) (2024).[4]

History

In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 1393 (Dobrocha) as belonging to Divín castle.
