Doľany is a village and municipality in Levoča District in the Prešov Region of central-eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1314.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 590 metres (1,940 ft)[3] and covers an area of 3.67 km2 (1.42 sq mi) (2024).[4]

The vast majority of the municipality's population consists of the local Roma community. In 2019, they constituted an estimated 76% of the local population and are concentrated in the former village of Roškovce.[9]
