Dizaj-e Takyeh (Persian: ديزج تكيه)[a] is a village in Baranduzchay-ye Shomali Rural District[4] of the Central District in Urmia County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.
The village was largely inhabited by Assyrian Christians until the Assyrian genocide. The Assyrian church of Raban-Hormoz is located within the village.
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 737 in 204 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 709 people in 213 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 691 people in 226 households.[2]
