Dimitris Maris is an entrepreneur, founder, and president of the digital media group 24 MEDIA, which operates domestic media outlets (news247.gr, sport24.gr).

Education

He studied Architectural Engineering (BA) in the United States at Drexel University (1990–1995) and pursued postgraduate studies at University College London in the field of Lighting (1995–1996).[1]

Career

Dimitris Maris has had an entrepreneurial and investment presence for more than 15 years in the fields of media, education, new media, and technology — a sector that shapes every one of his business moves. He has secured international partnerships in Greece with global brands such as the Huffington Post. He was publisher of the newspaper Ethnos from September 2017 until March 2018, while at the same time he owned 88.6 FM from 2017 to 2020, which operated as Radio 24/7 and News 24/7 Radio (now Kids Radio), and held a stake in 103.3 FM, which operated as Sport 24 Radio from 2015 until 2020, when it ceased operations.

He is the co-founder of Kaizen Gaming (Stoiximan/Betano), from 2012 to the present, and has been a member of the Advisory Committee of Marathon Venture Capital since 2018.[2][3]
