Desulfatiferula olefinivorans is a Gram-negative, sulfate-reducing, long-chain alkene-degrading and motile bacterium from the genus of Desulfatiferula which has been isolated from oil-polluted sediments from Berre Lagoon in France.[1][3][4][5][6]
