History
In June 2024, Dappier announced the launch of a marketplace that lets publishers set access terms for their content, alongside a $2 million seed round led by Silverton Partners.[1][2]
In October 2024, TV & radio company Morgan Murphy Media said it would use Dappier to support AI-driven local-news experiences and data syndication.[5]
In June 2025, financial news site Benzinga announced they would adopt Dappier for AI data licensing in response to increased use of AI-based search platforms.[6]
In July 2025, the News-Press & Gazette Company made its broadcast and digital content available to AI endpoints via Dappier’s marketplace and branded on-site “Ask AI” experiences.[7]
In May 2024, Dappier CTO Krish Arvapally commented on the role of standards like LLMs.txt & Microsoft's NLWeb in an interview with VentureBeat on "the battle to AI-enable the web."[8]
Technology
Dappier provides an AI data marketplace where publishers can expose data models under usage-based terms: via retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) APIs or MCP, Dappier provides permissioned content to AI systems at the time of inference.[1]

In January 2025, Dappier announced Interactive Ads that embed Dappier's Ask AI into online banner ads.[9]
