Daniel Szor is an American entrepreneur who is most notable as the founder of the Cotswolds Distillery[3] and Master at the Worshipful Company of Distillers.[4]
Career
Szor worked in finance for thirty years in London and has experienced the highs and lows of global finance, in 2014 Szor left the finance industry.[5][6]
In 2014 Szor moved the Cotswolds and opened the Cotswolds distillery in Stourton, West Midlands.[6]
In October 2023 Szor was appointed as Chairman of the English Whisky Guild taking over from Andrew Nelstrop.[7]
On November 21, 2025 Szor was appointed as the 378th Master of the Worshipful Company of Distillers.[4]
