Cristián Andrés Neira Martínez (Temuco, Chile) is a Chilean journalist and politician affiliated with the Partido Republicano. He serves as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile, representing the 23rd District for the 2026–2030 legislative term.[1][2]
Biography
Neira graduated in journalism and worked in media and university teaching in the Araucanía region.[3] He later moved into public service, serving as regional councillor (CORE) for La Araucanía and as a parliamentary advisor.
Political career
In the 2025 parliamentary elections, Neira ran as a candidate for deputy in the 23rd District under the banner of the Republican Party. According to the official list of elected deputies, he obtained a seat for the 2026–2030 term.[4]
