Cristián Menchaca Pinochet is a Chilean politician who serves as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile, representing the 18th District for the 2026–2030 term.[1][2]
Biography
Menchaca has a long background in municipal leadership in the Maule Region, having served in local government and built close ties with rural communities in the 18th District. He emphasises grassroots work, local infrastructure, and public service.
Political career
Menchaca entered national politics as a candidate for deputy in the 18th District, covering communes such as Cauquenes, Chanco, Colbún, Linares, Longaví, Parral, Pelluhue, Retiro, San Javier, Villa Alegre and Yerbas Buenas.[1] He successfully secured election to serve for the 2026–2030 term.
