The Covenant School is an American K–12 classical Christian private school in Dallas, Texas. It was founded in 1993.[2]

In 2024, the school appointed Melissa Hill as head of school, starting with the 2025–2026 school year.[3]

In 2021, the school's minority enrollment was 11.5%.[4]

In 2021, Covenant edited the student handbook to include a "Statement of Beliefs,"[5] which states that "professing Christians" should "resist any and all same-sex sexual attractions and refrain from any and all same-sex sexual acts or conduct," and "affirm their biological sex and refrain from any and all attempts to physically change, alter, or disagree with their predominant biological sex."[5] All parents of attending students must sign this handbook, stating that they agree with the above statements.[6] In 2025, the administration added that if students themselves disagreed with this statement, they should come forward and say so. It is unclear what the consequence would be for doing so.

The Covenant School does not require faculty members, families, or attending students to be of a certain Christian denomination.[6] Protestant, Catholic, Baptist, Orthodox, and non-denominational individuals are all welcome. The only non-dogmatic aspects of Christianity that all attending individuals must agree on are those regarding gender and sexuality.

The Covenant School student handbook outlines which student behaviors warrant expulsion. Sexual harassment, slurs, and hate speech are only expulsion-worthy offenses if they take place on campus, or at a Covenant-sponsored event.[6] No students have been expelled for such actions. There is also a provision in the handbook that qualifies "patterns of behavior contrary to the School’s mission or culture"[6] as an expulsionary offense.
