Connor Storrie (born February 22, 2000) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Ilya Rozanov in the Crave sports romance television series Heated Rivalry (2025–present).
Early life
Storrie was born on February 22, 2000 in Odessa, Texas.[1] His parents both worked in the mortgage industry; his father later became involved in land deals for oil companies, and his mother managed buildings for people with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.[2] During his youth, Storrie trained in gymnastics[3][4] and developed an early interest in acting and languages.[2] He spent his junior year of high school studying in France, where he learned to speak French.[2][5] After his family relocated to the Conejo Valley near Ventura, California, Storrie began pursuing acting more seriously, eventually dropping out of high school and working as a restaurant waiter while attending auditions in Los Angeles.[2]
Career
Storrie started his acting career in 2018, appearing in various short films and minor roles,[4][6] notably the role of Liam Hauser in the 2023 film Riley.[7]
In the 2024 DC film Joker: Folie à Deux, Storrie portrayed the young Arkham Asylum inmate implied to be the real Joker. He was required to keep his role and involvement a secret for almost two years before the film's release.[8][9] He told Variety, "It was so under wraps. I didn’t know anything else about the movie except that part in it. They were very serious. I didn’t say anything to anyone for two years."[10]
In 2025, Storrie starred in the sports romance television series Heated Rivalry, based on the novel of the same name by Rachel Reid.[11] Show creator Jacob Tierney cast Storrie as Russian hockey player Ilya Rozanov after noting his on-screen chemistry with Hudson Williams.[12][13] In preparation for the role, Storrie studied the Russian language and developed a Russian accent for his English-language dialogue.[14] He also trained for the physical demands of the role and worked with intimacy coordinator Chala Hunter on intimate scenes with Williams.[15]
Apart from acting, Storrie is also a filmmaker. He has written and directed multiple short films, and in 2025 he filmed his feature-length directorial debut.[5]
