Christopher Roberts (born 29 April 1971)[1] is a British former cyclist who competed in track and road cycling.
During his career Roberts won a total of Two National Championships and represented Great Britain on numerous occasions.
Cycling career
Roberts began cycling competitively as a teenager, joining a local club in City of Westminster, London. He rose through the youth and junior categories, quickly earning recognition for his versatility on both the road and the track.
In 1987, he won the Junior British National Championships, securing titles in both road and track events. His success at junior level led to invitations to national training camps and representation at several domestic and regional competitions. Roberts was also part of the City of Westmister Cycling Borough that won the 1986-88 London Youth games[2]. As well as Finishing 5th in the National Junior Track Cycling World Championships in the team Pursuit category with team GB.
Unlike many of his contemporaries, Roberts chose not to enter the professional ranks. Outside of cycling, little has been published about his private life.
