Caleb Lomu is an American college football offensive tackle for the Utah Utes.
Early life
Lomu attended Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona and is of Tongan descent [1]. Lomu earned invites to play in the All-American Bowl and the Polynesian Bowl.[2] He was rated as a four-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Utah Utes, with additional offers from Arizona, Michigan, and USC.[2]
College career
As a freshman in 2023, Lomu only played 25 snaps for the Utes and took a redshirt.[3] He earned the starting left tackle spot in 2024.[4] That season, Lomu allowed just 17 pressures and two sacks, earning freshman all-American honors from The Athletic.[5] Heading into the 2025 season, he is heavily regarded as one of the top prospects in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft.[6][7]
