Brinda is an Indian Telugu-language crime thriller television series written and directed by Surya Manoj Vangala.[1] Produced by Adding Advertising LLP and And Stories, starring Trisha Krishnan, Indrajith Sukumaran and Ravindra Vijay in important roles,[2] it premiered on SonyLIV on 2 August 2024.[3] In September 2025, the show was renewed for a second season.[4]

Production
In October 2021, the series was announced on SonyLIV.[5][6] The makers of the series arranged a muhurtam puja.[7] Trisha Krishnan was cast in the titular role in what also happens to be her OTT debut.[8] The principal photography of the series started in mid-October 2021.[9] In April 2022, Indrajith Sukumaran was confirmed to be a part of the cast, in a pivotal role.[10] The filming of the series concluded in November 2022.[11] The teaser was released on 8 July 2024,[12] followed by the trailer of the series.[13]

Avinash Ramachandran of The Indian Express gave the series 3/5 stars.[14] Divya Raje Bhonsale of Mathrubhumi rated the series 3/5 stars.[15] The series was reviewed by Neeshita Nyayapati for Hindustan Times[16] and Sangeetha Devi Dundoo for The Hindu.[17]
