The Best Screenplay Award is an annual award presented for best screenwriting achievements in a feature film in the official competition section of the Venice Film Festival since 2000.
The prize was first awarded to Claudio Fava, Marco Tullio Giordana and Monica Zapelli for One Hundred Steps in 2000.
