Benson Luk Hon-man (Chinese: 陸瀚民) is a Hong Kong businessman and politician who was a member of the Legislative Council for the Election Committee constituency which was newly created under the electoral overhaul imposed by Beijing.
On 5 January 2022, Carrie Lam announced new warnings and restrictions against social gathering due to potential COVID-19 outbreaks.[1] One day later, it was discovered that Luk attended a birthday party hosted by Witman Hung Wai-man, with 222 guests.[2][3][4] At least one guest tested positive with COVID-19, causing many guests to be quarantined.[4]
In June 2023, Luk defended legislation that would give lawmakers a summer break, and said that the media should refer to it as an "adjournment of LegCo meetings."[5]
Luk stood down in 2025 after choosing not to seek another term.
