Career

Yuva initially played volleyball, but during the COVID-19 pandemic she decided to switch to an individual sport and began archery.[2]

She trained at the Vedat Erbay Archery Academy and quickly rose through the youth categories, earning national titles and a call-up to the Turkish national team.[3]

In 2024, she won a bronze medal in the U21 compound women's category at the Indoor Archery World Cup Stage 3 in Nîmes, France.[2]

In 2025, she won another bronze medal in the women's compound team event at the World Cup Stage 2 in Shanghai, alongside Emine Rabia Oğuz and Hazal Burun.[4]

The same year, Yuva, together with Defne Çakmak and Betül Özbek, became world champions in the U21 women's compound team event at the World Youth Championships, defeating Korea in a shoot-off.[5]

Ahead of the 2025 World Archery Championships, she joined the national team camp held in Gallipoli.[6]
