Babiana horizontalis is a perennial flowering plant and geophyte belonging to the genus Babiana.[1] The species is endemic to the Northern Cape and is part of the Succulent Karoo. It occurs in the Richtersveld to Springbok. It has a range of 3 129 km2 and the plant is threatened by overgrazing.[2]
