Bjorn Martin (born April 12, 1999), known professionally as B Major, is a South African composer and record producer. His work focuses on Soulful house and other forms of electronic music.[1][2]

Career

His father, a music teacher and pianist, introduced him to jazz and R&B during his childhood. Martin began learning the piano at the age of ten and later developed an interest in music production.[3] DJ Kent, Kaytranada, Heavy K, Four7 and his late father are his musical influences.[3][2][1]

Martin released his debut album, Matters of the Heart, in February 2024.[1][4] The project included a collaboration with two-time South African Music Awards (SAMAs) nominee D'Low (musician). [5][6][1] His single Sunday Morning was nominated at the Cape Town Artist Awards, and Lemonade received a nomination at the 021 Music Awards.[1][3]
