Argun Formation

The Argun Formation is the name used for several distinct geological units in Crimea, Ukraine, and Chita, Russia. [1] It formed in Miocene, 16.0 - 13.8 Ma. Its lithology is characterized as shale in Crimea and siliclastic in Pad Semen (near Chita).[2]
