Amath Faye (born 3 February 1996) is a Senegalese athlete who competes in the long jump and triple jump.[1]
Career
He won a bronze medal in the long jump at the 2022 African Championships in St Pierre, Mauritius.[2][3][4] He set a personal best in the long jump of 7.88 metres on 10 June 2023 at the Meeting National de Pierre-Bénite in France.[5]
He won the silver medal in the triple jump with a best jump of 16.61 metres at the 2023 Francophone Games in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.[6][7] He won the silver medal in the triple jump at the delayed 2023 African Games, held in Accra, Ghana, in March 2024 with a jump of 16.24 metres.[8][9] He had a fifth place finish in the triple jump at the 2024 African Championships in Douala, Cameroon.[10]
He set a new personal best in the triple jump of 16.69 metres in Dakar on 24 May 2025.[11] In September 2025, he competed at the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan.[12][13]
