Al-Uzza Undae

Al-Uzza Undae is one of the two major named dune fields on Venus.[1][2][3]

Its coordinates are 67.70 °N, 90.50 °W, and it is 150 km in diameter.[2][3] It is thought to be having recent activity.[3]

It was named after Ussa, an Arabian goddess of the desert.[1]

It was discovered by the NASA spacecraft Magellan in the early 1990s.[4]
