Ahmad Aburob (Arabic: أحمد أبو الرب) is a Jordanian YouTuber and social media content creator.[1][2] He is known for his infotainment videos on YouTube and comedic skits across social media.[3][4] He won the “Middle Eastern Social Media Star” award at the 2022 People's Choice Awards.[5][6][7]

Early life and education

Aburob was born on June 15, 1997. He studied Civil Engineering at the University of Jordan, graduating in 2021.

Career

Aburob began his YouTube channel in 2018, initially making content related to photography and vlogging.[8][9] He gradually shifted to comedic content, skits, commentary, and social media entertainment, which resonated widely. As of 2025, his main YouTube channel surpassed 10 million subscribers and nearly 2 billion total views. [10][11]

Aburob gained wider attention through satirical, humorous commentary, sometimes controversial takes on Arab-world popular culture and videos about other Arab content creators, including Noor Stars, Narins Beauty, Naji Elqaq, BarryTube, Anas and Asala, and Joe Hattab.[10] These videos gained him substantial popularity across the Arab region.[12][13]

Public recognition and awards

In 2022, Aburob won the “Middle Eastern Social Media Star” at the People's Choice Awards.[5][14]

In 2023, Aburob was nominated in the "Favorite Influencer" category at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Abu Dhabi.[15][16]

In 2024, Aburob was a speaker at the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai, an international conference focused on the creator economy and digital content trends. [13][4]

In October 2025, Aburob spoke at the TEDxAmman, held at the Roman Theatre in Amman under the theme “The Power of Why.”[17]

As of 2025, his achievement of 10 million subscribers was reported by a regional media outlet Roya, describing him among the “brightest stars on social media across the Arab world.”[10]

Other activities and public life

In 2021, he used his social media influence to raise funds for charity; reportedly organized a campaign that collected funds for underprivileged families in Jordan.[18]
