Aaron Craven (born July 25, 1974) is a Canadian actor, playwright, and theatre director. He has played lead acting roles in film, television, and theatre. He is the artistic director of Mitch and Murray Productions, a Vancouver-based theatre company.
Early life
Craven was born in North Vancouver, British Columbia. He began acting in high school after getting selected for a school production by the drama teacher. His interest in acting piqued while studying pre-law at the University of British Columbia, where he took theatre classes and later started acting in various plays at the university.[1]
Career
Craven began acting after his theatre studies at UBC. He is a co-founder and artistic director of Mitch and Murray Productions, a Vancouver-based theatre company.
He is a playwright, who has written Instantaneous Blue (2023), a semi-autobiography on and dementia.

He has played diverse roles in films and television series, including The Predator, Big Eyes, and The Age of Adaline.[13][14][15][16][17][18][19]
He has appeared on various film productions with feature film appearances including roles in Big Eyes (directed by Tim Burton),[20]
Craven offers acting workshops to teens and adults diagnosed with autism. Through Mitch and Murray Productions, he has devised classes that cater for the autistic population, enhancing their inclusion in the industry.[21]
Personal life
Craven is married to Kate Craven, whom they have one son together.[22]
His parents were diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2016, starting with his mother and then his father. Craven's father succumbed to the condition in 2018 at the age of 83.[11]
In 2023, Mitch and Murray premiered his play Instantaneous Blue, which resonates around Craven's experience dealing with his parents' conditions.[9][10]
