A House in the Square is a 1940 British stage play written by Diana Morgan.[1]
Premise
The play follows the lives of a British family over three decades, spanning from 1910 to 1940, as they navigate social change, personal loss, and the shifting world around them.
Reception
The Guardian called it "consistently interesting... a deeply satisfying evening in the theatre."[2]
Adaptations
It was filmed for television in 1949 starring Roger Moore. The Observer said it "leaves so little to the imagination that it was not really surprising that the performance hadn't got any."[3]
