Hollis Parker Frazier-Herndon (born January 5, 2004), known professionally as 2hollis, is an American rapper and producer.[6]
Biography
Born January 5, 2004, in Chicago, Illinois,[7] Frazier-Herndon's father is musician John Herndon (also known as A Grape Dope), drummer of the band Tortoise, and his mother is Kathryn Frazier, founder of PR firm Biz 3 and co-founder of record label Owsla.[8] His childhood home burnt down during the January 2025 Southern California wildfires.[7]
Frazier-Herndon began his music career as a producer/artist under the alias "Drippysoup" in 2018.[9] His first songs were described as "medieval trap" by 032c.[10] He first gained attention for his 2022 album White Tiger. His 2023 song "Poster Boy" was included as part of EA Sports FC 24's soundtrack. He gained further popularity in 2024, after the release of singles such as "crush"[11] and "jeans" and the subsequent release of his third studio album, Boy.[12]
In 2024, it was announced that Frazier-Herndon was performing as opening act for Ken Carson's 2024 tour, The Chaos Tour.[9][13] Following Chaos, Frazier-Herndon announced his first North American tour, Leg One.[14] In 2025, 2hollis was named one of 26 top artists to watch in 2025 by American publication Ones to Watch, alongside artists such as Addison Rae, Katseye, and Mk.gee.[15] Also in 2025, he released his album Star, which coincided with a tour that began later in the year.[16]
