The 2025 UT Permian Basin Falcons football team represented the University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) in the 2025 NCAA Division II football season as a member of the Lone Star Conference (LSC). The Falcons were led by third-year head coach Kris McCullough. The team played most of its home games at Astound Broadband Stadium in Midland, Texas while Ratliff Stadium in neighboring Odessa hosted one game.[1]
The Falcons finished the regular season with an overall record of 9–2, going 7–2 in LSC play to finish in a three-way tie for second in the conference. The team received a bid for the NCAA Division II playoffs, facing off against CSU Pueblo in the first round. The no. 10 Falcons defeated the no. 4 ThunderWolves 37–24 for the first playoff win in program history.[2] In the second round, the Falcons defeated no. 15 Western Colorado, 21–15, in overtime, after being down 15–0 in the fourth quarter.[3]
