The 2025 North Carolina FC season is the 19th season of the club's existence, and their fifth season in the USL Championship, the second division in the American soccer pyramid, after three years in the USL League One, the third division of the American soccer pyramid. North Carolina is coached by John Bradford, his seventh season with the club, and played their home games at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park.

USL Championship playoffs
As the third seed in the Eastern Conference, North Carolina clinched a playoff spot in the 2025 USL Championship playoffs, being matched up at home against Loudoun United FC.[3] At home, North Carolina scored a quick goal in the sixth minute to clinch a 10 victory at home.[4] In the Conference Semi-Finals, the club is matched up against seventh-seeded Rhode Island FC, the runners-up in the 2024 USL Championship finals.[5]
