The 2025 Norddjurs Municipal election was held on November 18, 2025, to elect the 27 members to sit in the regional council for the Norddjurs Municipal council, in the period of 2026 to 2029.[1] Kasper Bjerregaard from Venstre, would secure re-election. [2]

Background

Following the 2021 election, Kasper Bjerregaard from Venstre became mayor for his first term. [3] He is set to run for re-election. [4]

Electoral system

For elections to Danish municipalities, a number varying from 9 to 31 are chosen to be elected to the municipal council. The seats are then allocated using the D'Hondt method and a closed list proportional representation. Norddjurs Municipality had 27 seats in 2025.
