The 2025 edition of the Atlantic International Film Festival, the 45th edition in the event's history, took place from September 10 to 17, 2024 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.[1]

The first films in the program were announced on July 25, with the full program announced on August 13.[2]

The festival opened with Bretten Hannam's film At the Place of Ghosts (Sk+te’kmujue’katik) and closed with Bill Condon's Kiss of the Spider Woman, with Andy Hines's Little Lorraine serving as the centrepiece Atlantic Gala.[2]
