The 2025–26 West Virginia Mountaineers men's basketball team represents West Virginia University during the 2025–26 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Mountaineers are coached by first year head coach Ross Hodge, and play their home games at the Hope Coliseum located in Morgantown, West Virginia as members of the Big 12 Conference.
Previous season
The Mountaineers finished the 2023–24 season 19–13, 10–10 in Big 12 Play to finish in a tie for seventh place. They lost in the first round of the Big 12 tournament to Colorado, 67−60.[1]
