The 2025–26 South Florida Bulls men's basketball team represents the University of South Florida during the 2025–26 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This season marks the 53rd basketball season for USF, and the 12th as a member of the American Conference. The Bulls play their home games at Yuengling Center on the university's Tampa, Florida campus. They are led by first-year head coach Bryan Hodgson.[1]

Previous season

The Bulls' 2024–25 season was marred by the unexpected death of head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim just ahead of the season on October 24, 2024.[2] On October 29, the school appointed Ben Fletcher as interim coach for the season.[3] The Bulls finished the season 13–19, going 6–12 in conference play to finish in 9th place. The team faced Wichita State in the first round of the AAC tournament, losing 68–73 and ending their season.

Preseason

On October 9, 2025, the American Conference released their preseason poll. South Florida was picked to finish second in the conference, while receiving two first-place votes.[4]
