Previous season

As the No. 11 seed in the SEC tournament, they were defeated by Oklahoma in the first round.[1] The Bulldogs received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, where they lost to Gonzaga in the first round.[2] This was their first NCAA tournament appearance since the 2014–15 season.[3]
