2024 Slidell tornado

The 2024 Slidell tornado was an EF2 tornado that struck Slidell, Louisiana on the morning of April 10, 2024. With peak winds around 120 mph it was one of the largest recorded tornadoes to hit the city of Slidell besides the 2011 Slidell tornado.[1][2]

The tornado would touch down around Eden Isle around 10:00 a.m. CDT (4:00 p.m. UTC) traveling for 11.15 miles before dissipating near the Louisiana-Mississippi border.[3]
