Presidential elections were held in Iraq on 24 July 2014 to elect the President of Iraq for a four-year term via indirect suffrage by the Council of Representatives.[1] The result was a win for Fuad Masum, who received 211 votes.[2] The position is largely ceremonial, with Iraq being a parliamentary system.
