In his place, Councillor William H. Vaudrey (Conservative, St. Ann's, elected 4 November 1889)[5] was elected as an alderman by the council on 19 November 1902.[6]

Caused by the resignation on 7 October 1903 of Alderman William Thomas Bax (Liberal, elected as an alderman by the council on 15 February 1899).[7][8]
In his place, Councillor James Bowes (Liberal, Miles Platting, elected 1 November 1890)[9] was elected as an alderman by the council on 28 October 1903.[10]

Caused by the election as an alderman of Councillor William H. Vaudrey (Conservative, St. Ann's, elected 4 November 1889)[14] on 19 November 1902[15] following the death on 4 November 1902 of Alderman John Foulkes Roberts (Liberal, elected as an alderman by the council on 11 March 1885).[16][17]
