Châu Thành is an old rural district (huyện) of Đồng Tháp province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2019 the district had a population of 146,812.[1] The district covers an area of 245 km2 (95 sq mi). The district capital lies at Cái Tàu Hạ district town.[1]

Administratively, Châu Thành district, Đồng Tháp province is divided into 12 communes and 1 district town:

  4. An Phú Thuận commune
  5. An Khánh commune
