Richmond and Northallerton ist ein Wahlkreis (englisch constituency) in der Grafschaft North Yorkshire im Nordosten Englands, der einen Abgeordneten ins britische Unterhaus (House of Commons) entsendet. Er besteht seit 2024 und ist überwiegend ländlich geprägt. Bedeutende Orte im Wahlkreis sind Catterick, Great Ayton, Northallerton, Richmond und Stokesley. Derzeitiger Abgeordneter ist der ehemalige Premierminister Rishi Sunak.
Geschichte
Die Boundary Commission for England schuf diesen Wahlkreis im Hinblick auf die Unterhauswahl 2024. Er entstand aus dem größten Teil des aufgelösten Wahlkreises Richmond (Yorks).
Der Wahlkreis umfasst folgende Gebiete:
- seit 2024: im District of North Yorkshire die Wards Catterick Village & Brompton-on-Swale, Great Ayton, Hipswell & Colburn, Leyburn & Middleham, Morton-on-Swale & Appleton Wiske, North Richmondshire, Northallerton North & Brompton, Northallerton South, Richmond, Romanby, Scotton & Lower Wensleydale, Stokesley und Upper Dales[2]
