NAACP Image Awards 2024

Die 55. NAACP Image Awards, die von der NAACP verliehen werden, wurden am 16. März 2024 im Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Kalifornien, verliehen. Ausgezeichnet wurden People of Color in verschiedenen Kategorien im Bereich Film, Fernsehen, Musik und Literatur für ihre Leistungen im Kalenderjahr 2023. Moderatorin war Queen Latifah. Im Fernsehen wurden die Awards von BET sowie auf CBS übertragen.^[1]

Kategorien, die nicht im Fernsehen übertragen wurden, wurden bereits im Livestream auf der Website des Awards vom 11. bis zum 14. März übertragen.^[1]

Die Nominierungen konnten zwischen dem 31. Juli und dem 3. November 2024 eingereicht werden. Über die Shortlist konnte vom 25. Januar bis zum 24. Februar 2024 abgestimmt werden. Die meisten Nominierungen konnte der Film Die Farbe Lila von Blitz Bazawule erreichen. Er erhielt insgesamt 16 Nominierungen. Damit wurde der Film zum am häufigsten nominierten Film in der Geschichte der NAACP Awards. Er gewann elf Preise.^[2]
