Michael Ayers

Michael Richard Ayers (* 27. Juni 1935 in Wandsworth^[1]) ist ein britischer Philosoph und emeritierter Professor der University of Oxford.^[2] 2001 wurde er als Fellow (FBA) in die British Academy gewählt^[3], 2006 als Mitglied in die Academia Europaea.^[4]

Die inhaltlichen Schwerpunkte des Absolventen des St. John’s College in Cambridge^[4] sind: Geschichte der Philosophie, Sprachphilosophie Metaphysik und Erkenntnistheorie.^[3]
