Critics’ Choice Movie Awards 2006

Die Critics’ Choice Movie Awards 2006 wurden von der Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) am 9. Januar 2006 im Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica, Kalifornien vergeben. Die Kritiker würdigten auf der insgesamt 11. Verleihung der Awards die besten Leistungen des Filmjahres 2005. Die Zeremonie wurde über den US-amerikanischen Kabelsender E! Entertainment Television ausgestrahlt. Mit drei Awards wurde Brokeback Mountain am häufigsten ausgezeichnet, er erhielt auch mit acht Stück die meisten Nominierungen.^[1][2]

Die Nominierungen für die diesjährigen 18 Kategorien wurden am 11. Dezember 2005 bekanntgegeben.^[3]
